Let's suppose that there is only one computer in a home and everybody has access to it. In such situations, children could mess up with the computer's configuration and may modify some critical settings. The same goes for employees, if you are a boss. Some employees may spend their time playing games or download illegal materials instead of working. In such situations, a software that can restrict some of the operating system features would be a very good idea. Such a program is InTouch Lock. This is a software that can restrict some of the system's options according to certain profiles.

InTouch Lock has a simple installation process that resembles the ones of other Windows programs, being able to complete by most users. It supports any version of Windows and requires low system resources.

When the user runs the program for the first time, he will be asked to select the profile he would like to use. According to his choice, the software will activate some restrictions in the operating system. Every profile includes an explanation text that describes in detail what restrictions are applied to the system. The user can also disable system settings manually. The interface allows even beginners to manage all the settings, as everything is intuitive and self-explanatory.

All the options are organized in certain categories, for being easier to find. Besides offering various options for restricting access, InTouch Lock can also schedule actions, to take place only between certain time intervals. The program offers even a viewer that displays every warning or error encountered by the program. The restrictions set manually by the user can be exported as profiles, to be reused in case the program is reinstalled. The interface displays in the lower part the status of the protection, active or inactive, and also the protection level. A weak level means that a user has almost full access to that computer.
